Our engineering department is fully dedicated to the construction of our machines. As one of the few suppliers in our sector, we design, develop and assemble our own machines. All of the work is done in-house. Our mowers and caterpillar tractors are good examples of this.
The process starts with visualising and modelling the machines using a 3D CAD program. The designs are then fleshed out in drawings. Subsequently, materials, machining and third-party components are purchased. Cutting and punching work is outsourced to external parties. As soon as all the components have been delivered the machines are assembled and welded in our own machine building department.
All machines are assembled internally and provided with their own hydraulic system and controls.
In our workshop we have a welding robot, which is used in series production, for example for caterpillar booms, caterpillar suspensions and caterpillar tracks. We also have a storage area for small parts and a 2400m2 warehouse for larger machines and components (complete tracks, sprockets, motors, pumps, axles, etc.). This makes it possible to quickly repair unexpected defects so that the machines are often ready for use again the same day.
